Message from Adam Stroud
Hello,
I’m Adam Stroud, CEO of Paxton, and I would like to introduce our annual fundraising event for 2021. We’re going round the world! Yes, in this strange, virtualised existence brought about by the pandemic, the Paxton team are individually walking, running, and cycling and logging their mileage to collectively get us around the world. Not just that, but we’re virtually stopping by all 33 countries in which Paxton products are sold. That’s over 53,000 miles (85,000 km)!
We have been inspired to do this as a means of achieving something constructive, to help those that really need it right now. We hope to raise a lot of money to support the Brighton based homeless charity, and our Charity of the Year 2021, the Clock Tower Sanctuary.
Also, from a team perspective, we want to generate that feeling of being connected to one other and working together outside of the strict confines of work life. I am a firm believer that exercise promotes both mental and physical well-being, and that has never been more important than right now.
We would greatly appreciate any donation, no matter the size. Every signal of support spurs the whole Paxton team on. Thank you!
Adam
What is The Clock Tower Sanctuary?
The Clock Tower Sanctuary work with young homeless people in Brighton to give them space, support & stability. They are the only drop-in day centre for homeless 16-to-25-year olds in the city. The charity take care to listen and respond to what they need and treat everyone as an individual.
